The journey of vegetables from field to finished product
Seed
The journey to the beloved flavors of "Dyadya Vanya" begins in our natural fields in the Volgograd region. We carefully select the best vegetable seeds and inspect them for integrity and purity.
Only a proven, robust seed earns the chance to become the source of our future crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, and tender peas.
Seedling
We cultivate young seedlings from specially selected seeds. We create optimal conditions for every sprout: automatically controlling the temperature, ensuring proper watering, and closely monitoring the plants' health.
We strengthen the root systems and carefully select the seedlings before planting. In the spring, only strong, healthy plants—ready to yield an abundant harvest—are transplanted into the open fields of the Volgograd region.
Manual planting in open ground
At this stage, we deliberately forgo the use of machinery. Our specialists plant every seedling in the open ground entirely by hand.
This allows us to protect delicate roots from damage and helps each sprout take firm hold in the fertile soil. For us, manual labor is not merely a tradition, but a guarantee that only the strongest and healthiest plants remain in the field.
Hand-harvesting and selection
The harvest is gathered by hand, which preserves the natural flavor and beneficial properties of the produce.
The vegetables are then carefully sorted to select only the best specimens and eliminate any defects.
Production
Fresh vegetables are delivered for processing within 1–2 hours, retaining their freshness and natural flavor.
Key stages:
- Washing — powerful jets of water wash away dust and dirt, leaving only the clean product.
- Jar filling — a filling machine automatically fills the jar.
- Sealing and inspection — the lid is screwed on automatically, and then each jar passes through a rejection unit that checks the seal's integrity.
- Heat treatment at 90°C or higher. We have something to be proud of here: the Akhtuba Cannery houses Russia's largest horizontal pasteurizer—measuring 29.3 meters!
- Resting period of 11 days
- Labeling and palletizing
Only then does the finished product head to the warehouse!
In-house laboratory
Product quality is monitored by our in-house laboratory. Professional chemists and technologists oversee the entire production process—from the receipt of raw materials at the plant to the release of the finished product.
Specialists inspect the quality of vegetables, marinades, and spices, monitor production parameters and equipment operation, and conduct quality checks on the finished product right on the line.
This multi-stage approach enables us to ensure quality at every step and have confidence in every jar.
Modern design
We created a custom design for every packaging element,
combining them into a single recognizable brand image.
The sculpted jar shape with its embossed ornament
and stamped logo, the lid and the signature label —
all styled in a unified look — perfectly complement each other. Together
they create a cohesive, memorable design that is easy
